MRI and CT scan facility soon in Chamba Medical College

Chamba. CM Jairam Thakur (CM Jai Ram Thakur) said that the state government will ensure adequate deployment of staff in health institutions in Chamba district. For the convenience of the people of the district, MRI and CT Scan will soon be provided in the medical college. CM Jairam Thakur held a meeting today with officials at the Bachat Bhawan in Chamba district to review the status of Covid-19 (Covid-19) in the district.
In the meeting, he said that the state government, keeping in view the need and difficult geographical conditions of Chamba district Covid patients Excellent medical infrastructure to ensure better treatment facilities. Jairam Thakur said that out of the total 713 active Kovid patients in the district at present, only 68 are hospitalized and others are placed in Home Isolation. He said that the state government has given the district administration to face any emergency situation in the district. Bed capacity Has been asked to increase it to 200. He said that this will not only provide time bound treatment to the patients but they will not need to go to other districts for treatment.

PSA Oxygen Plant in Chamba to be operational within a week
CM said that in the state Oxygen (Oxygen) is not lacking. He said that the state government has requested the central government to make additional D-type cylinders available to the state. He said that the PSA Oxygen Plant at Chamba would become functional within a week, which would ensure supply of oxygen demand in the district. He said that district-wise mapping of oxygen generating units would be done for transportation of cylinders so that when needed, oxygen could be supplied from the nearest unit to the districts. He said that this would not only save valuable time from transportation, but would also ensure a time bound supply of oxygen.
Inspire strict adherence to SOP and guidelines
Jairam Thakur said that speedy investigation and effective mechanism for contact tracing should be developed. He said that people should be encouraged to strictly follow the standard operating procedures (SOP) and guidelines issued from time to time by the state government to prevent the spread of the virus. Demand to provide additional ambulance from CM
DC Chamba Duni Chand Rana welcomed the CM and gave a detailed presentation about the status of Kovid-19 in the district. He said that Kovid-19 patients are being provided treatment at six places in the district, where the total bed capacity is 275 and efforts are being made to increase the bed capacity to 105 more. He said that there are 713 active cases of Kovid-19 in the district and 1.13 lakh people have been vaccinated Kovid-19. He informed that the oxygen production unit at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College, Chamba will be operational soon, which has the capacity to fill about 100 cylinders a day. In addition to the geographical conditions of the district, he asked the CM Ambulances (Ambulances) urged to provide.
After this, CM visited the construction site of Government Medical College Chamba and directed the executing agency to expedite the construction work.
