When G7 leaders sit down for dinner after this 12 months’s summit, they are going to be offered with a luxurious meal, ready by a British chef.
Identified for his casual “feasty nights”, Simon Stallard, chef and founding father of the Hidden Hut, will serve the leaders a “mega seaside barbecue” in Carbis Bay, reported Unbiased.
So, what’s on the menu? The G7 leaders can be served scallops, Curgurrell crab claws, and Portscatho mackerel canapés to start out the meal. The primary course consists of Moorland sirloin and Newlyn lobster with Cornish potato chips and St Simply broccoli.
For dessert, company can be served Seashore Hut Sundae.
Taking to Instagram, the chef wrote, “…over the previous few weeks, we’ve been working behind the scenes on a top-secret venture.”
“As with all the things we do @hiddenhut and past it’s a possibility to showcase the artisans, producers and growers of Cornwall, and the bounty and sweetness we’ve got right here on our doorstep. Want us luck, we’re heading in,” he added.
Speaking to The Occasions, the chef shared that the G7 reserving “got here as a shock”. “Nevertheless it’s so stunning within the bay, and I believe for those who’re on the seaside you need to benefit from it,” he was quoted as saying.
Stallard can also be recognized to be keen about sustainable eating. He has developed his personal instruments and strategies, from fireplace pits within the sand to wind-chime fish people who smoke.
